What is Morganite?
Morganite is the pink variety of beryl and exhibits a gentle pastel pink to orangey-pink colour due to traces of manganese. In the early 20th century, the mineral is named after   J.P. Morgan, the renowned financier and gem enthusiast. Morganite is sourced from Brazil, Madagascar, Mozambique and Afghanistan.
